Facade mounting excursion at the IFBS in Krefeld 2025
On June 3 and 4, we had the opportunity to get a feel for assembly practice in lightweight metal construction. With a total of 13 people, we were invited by the International Federation for Lightweight Metal Construction (IFBS) to slip into the role of fitters on the construction site for two days and assemble and disassemble various façade systems (sandwich elements and cassette façades) with all the associated details:
Kleinwalsertal 2024
From June 7th to 10th, this year's doctoral seminar was held, traditionally taking place at the Darmstadt House in Kleinwalsertal. In celebration of Professor Lange's final semester, we were fortunate to receive significant support from former doctoral candidates of the department, who traveled from all over Germany as surprise guests.
