Welcome to the website of the Department of Steel Construction at the Technical University of Darmstadt. The aim of our work is to conduct research and teaching in steel construction for the engineers of tomorrow. Our research focuses on sandwich elements, additive manufacturing and structural steel connections. The scientific handling of teaching and learning processes in engineering studies is also an important concern for us.
